Girl Talk

So the other night, while closing, my friend and I had a long conversation about what has gone on in our lives… she asked me what happened between me and my ex and I was honest with her. I told her what happened and what led up to the break up.

In the process, I told her how the weekend before, I had gone out w friends and ended up crashing at their house because I was under the influence (alcohol) and couldn’t drive home.

He was pissed at the fact that I didn’t let him know what time I had gotten home and once I told him I had spent the night he got even more mad.

“I was finally OK with you going out with your friends and then you do this shit!?”

Was his response when I revealed I was on my way home (it was the next morning).

I didn’t realize it at the time… it took me telling my friend about that night/morning to realize that he never liked me going out with my friends. He lied. Every single time I went out, it bothered him. —I never got mad at him for going with his friends. In fact I encouraged it! I wouldn’t even bug him while he was with them with text messages or anything!! I would just ask him to let me know when he was home. Because I wanted him to enjoy his time spent with them.

And to get this… “I was FINALLY OK with it”.. really?? After a year and a half?

Whatevs dude.

I guess I really need to make sure I live it up this summer. Now that I don’t have to give details to anyone about my nights out with my friends.

I just had to get this out… basically, I was never really trusted.

Moving on now… bigger, better things, right?? —Right.
